SHARING ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPERTISE FOR A BETTER WORLD

Our latest Global Activity Report has been printed on paper carrying the FSC label to assure that the paper comes from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. We consider this an Olympic minimum for VYNCKE’s contribution to the world, which we did not inherit from our forefathers, but borrow from our children. Apart from such small but important efforts, like FSC label paper, and apart from our project-based development cooperations, VYNCKE and their partners are also structurally organized to help the less fortunate in this world.

VYNCKE is a founding member and financial partner of INCOFIN. This private investment company concentrates on providing loans and equity participation for sustainable Micro Finance Institutions in developing countries. Micro Finance helps local entrepreneurs to turn their dreams into reality by supporting them to start their own small business, to become self-employed and to break out of the vicious circle of poverty.

Dirk VYNCKE is the chairman of EX-CHANGE. EX-CHANGE stimulates entrepreneurship as a durable and powerful means against poverty in developing economies. EX-CHANGE aims at providing companies, organizations and training centers in the target countries with global entrepreneurial expertise and networks, with an emphasis on respect for People, Profit and Planet. VYNCKE’s partner in India, FORBES MARSHALL, also strongly believes that responsible business goes hand in hand with responsible citizenship. FORBES runs a local hospital - charging only a token fee - for their employees and their families and the surrounding communities. They work with two nearby villages in preventive health care and primary education. FORBES also runs two school programs, one that teaches English to primary school children and one for children of migrant workers who would otherwise drop out of formal schooling.
