RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY

Long before Corporate Governance became a concept, Louis VYNCKE instilled the company with a strong sense of responsibility, accountability and transparency towards all its stakeholders.

The Vynckeneers are not all-powerful and for sure not all-knowing and therefore we deemed it useful and necessary to reinforce our team with external independent Directors. We have carefully searched and found enlightened people, all respected in their own fields of success. Our Board of Directors is now made up of Dirk, Peter and Dieter VYNCKE, and three independent professionals :

( born 1941 ) holds a Master’s in Mathematics and a PhD in Economics ; Dean of the Economics School of Brussels University 1974-1983 and a Professor till 1998 ; Founder and Director of the SME Study Centre 1983-1998 ; Director ( 1984 ) and Chairman ( 1996 ) of the Board of Directors of CERA BANK ; Chairman and Delegate Director of CERA 1998-2006 ;

Currently on the Board of Directors of the KBC GROUP, KBC BANK, CBC BANQUE, KBLUX & KBC INSURANCE ; also was a cofounder of the Family Business Network ( FBN ) & the Institute for the Family Business ( IFB ).

Dirk VANWALLE read more ...

( born 1947 ) holds a Master's in Civil Engineering and a Postgraduate in Managing Information Processing and Industrial Finance ; started as Planning and Material Manager, then Plant Manager and eventually Advisor to the General Management at BARCO ; independent consultant and Senior consultant for SOBEMAP 1976- 1983 ; General Manager of A.F.W. 1983-1994 ;

Currently President and CEO of the ATCOMEX GROUP, BST, IMACON & GEPHYDA ; also cofounder of ART FOUNDATION KANAAL and CHARTER 99.

Ludo SARENS read more ...

( born 1952 ) is a certified Commercial Engineer ; his professional career started at BLUE BELL, a wholly owned subsidiary of WRANGLER 1977-1978 ; in January 1979 he moved to the company SARENS NV starting as the Head of Accounting and later becoming Assistant to the General Manager ; in 1988, was promoted to become General Manager of SARENS ;

In 2006 Ludo was further promoted to become the President of SARENS and still holds this position today. Ludo joined our Board of Directors last year replacing Robert DOSSCHE who retired after 8 years on our Board.
